"Uniting brings power to the people"

The Missouri Federation of Women’s Democratic Clubs (MFWDC) empowers women across Missouri to engage in the democratic process, advocate for progressive values, and support Democratic candidates at every level of government. We accomplish our goals through education, activism, and community engagement. We foster leadership, promote equity, and work to build a stronger, more inclusive, Missouri for all.

Democratic leaders want our country to be healthy and secure. They know that knowledge and science are important; that healthy communities are vital to success.

The Democratic Party is made up of people who have so many talents, from all walks of life and we know that our differences make us stronger, not weaker. If the only tool in your toolbox is a hammer, you cannot build a house. Everyone brings their strengths to our Party, and, according to Aristotle, the "whole is greater than the sum of the parts."

Keeping women of all ages informed of the issues affecting them and making certain that we always can build on the knowledge base of the past, with our eyes focused on the future and living in the present is my goal for the our organization.

Supporting our local, regional, state and national organizations, together with the Missouri Democratic Party (MDP) and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) is vital to assuring our voices continue to be heard.

We are united in all of our efforts to bring support Democratic Women for all elected positions in our local, State and National offices.

Unity and Purpose

The Missouri Federation includes membership with the National Federation of Democratic Women (NFDW) to unite women and promote the cause of the Democratic Party. Our clubs encourage the participation of women at every level of the Democratic structure.
